Few days back, chpwn and Ryan Petrich released a new cydia tweak Spire bringing first legal SIRI port for jailbroken iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod touch 4G and iPod touch 3G running on iOS 5.0. And unlike previous Siri ports, Spire is not burdened by copyright issues. Spire, however, is a 100 MB download of Siri files directly from Apple, though it needs a proxy server address to keep it running on jailbroken iPhone.
Besides a jailbroken device, you also need access to an iPhone 4S for authentication tokens and a proxy server as a bridge between for your jailbroken device and Apple’s servers. Apple’s personal digital assistant Siri will not work without a proxy configured.

It is only useful for those who know how to configure or set-up proxy server for Spire to be fully functional. If you don’t own iPhone 4S device or do not know how to configure your own proxy server and where to enter proxy server address, this is probably is best place to learn.
There are actually some people who have configured their own Spire Proxy servers for public usage. Following is a list of legitimate Spire Proxy Hosts that you can enter into your Spire configuration in the Settings.app.

Description: I have personally not been able to get this Spire proxy server to work (I think the server was overloaded). I am posting it, however, as it may come back online in the future and you may have luck getting it to work.
Most of the private servers last for few hours and some of them go offline very soon. Probably they are being moved due to overload, or the authentication key has expired or Apple has managed to block their authentication system. But when the proxy connection server is running, Siri works too!
Pay-up services to rent some space on a Siri proxy is likely to come up in future. Some scam sites have started coming up that promises rental space for Siri proxy servers in decent price. Be warned! Stay away from such scammers. We would enlist here “ONLY” legitimate proxy host address list that can work well with Spire app. If you want one or find one, please sound off in comments.
