Apple today released iOS 6.1 beta 3 (build 10b5117b) to developers – just three weeks after the previous developer version of Build 10B5105c, indicating that Apple could be getting closer to releasing next software update. As always, the attention is on squashing bugs in iOS 6.1 and bringing the code closer to what a general iPad, iPhone or iPod touch owner will see when released to public.
In addition to a few minor changes to Safari, Apple mentions a number of changes from iOS 6.0.1 such as developer app integration with Apple’s new mapping service, improvements on how boarding passes are handled in Passbook, et cetera. The iOS 6 beta 3 update did not appear to include any mega-new feature, however.
