Apple released iOS 6.1 beta 2 (build 10B5105c) to developers today — just two weeks after the previous developer version of Build 10B5095f, signaling that Apple could be getting closer to releasing next software update. As always, the attention is on squashing bugs in iOS 6.1 and bringing the code closer to what a general iPad, iPhone or iPod touch owner will see when released to public.
In addition to a few minor changes to Safari, Apple mentions a number of changes from iOS 6.0.1 such as developer app integration with Apple’s new mapping service, improvements on how boarding passes are handled in Passbook, et cetera. Panorama support is back and you can again download individual songs from iTunes Match. We will chart other add-ons as they are discovered. The iOS 6 beta 2 update did not appear to include any mega-new feature, however.
