iPhone Dev Team has released updated Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 that brings fix to the “error 2601″ that Windows users were getting when using the Restore button. In addition, the latest version of Redsn0w fixes iTunes error 14 for stitched files on Windows. The information was relayed on the official blog with a caution to users looking to preserve baseband. Eric McDonald, aka @musclenerd suggested those users to avoid stitching and simply use redsn0w’s native Restore and not the iTunes.

Apart from fixing pesky bugs, Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 download allows 4th-gen iPad (iPad 4) and iPad Minis to save iOS 6.0 SHSH blobs off to Cydia. In order to do so, just connect your new device (iPad Mini or iPad 4) and turn it on, then use redsn0w’s Extras->SHSH Blobs->New and point it at the 6.0 IPSW. Simple! If you’re a regular follower of ours, you may already be knowing the process.

iPhone Dev Team further confirmed to release an updated ultrasn0w for iOS 6.0 by tomorrow. But since only iPhone 3GS (old bootrom) can be jailbroken on iOS 6.0 untethered, the uktrasn0w unlock will be most useful for 3GS owners). However, iPhone 4 users on baseband 01.59.00 can also unlock using the latest version of Ultrasn0w. Until now, iPhone users were using patched version of Ultrasn0w to unlock iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4.

The updated redsn0w also provides tethered 6.0 JB for iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G, and iPhone 3GS. You can follow tested tutorial for jailbreaking iOS 6.0 using RedSn0w 0.9.15 and list for iOS 6 compatible apps.
