The past few days have seen plenty of leaks and rumors surrounding the Google Nexus 10 Tablet, purported to be manufactured by Samsung. Now, the device may have officially appeared on video, thanks to flurry of leaked photos that appeared last Friday. The new video uploaded on YouTube by BriefMobile, offer sneak preview of UI on a Nexus 10 tablet that appears to be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The video primarily shows its speed and the 4.2 jelly bean lockscreen in landscape mode. We have seen leaked photos and benchmarks, but this is our clear look at the tablet that we suspect will launch very soon.

As for the other rumored specs of the Google Nexus 10 tablet, Samsung’s 10-incher will be powered by 1.7 GHz Exynos 5250, dual-core Cortex-A15, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution (298.9 pixels-per-inch), 2GB RAM, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, front-facing dual speakers, 16GB internal storage and NFC having exception of SD card reader.  The ARM Mali-T604 graphics processor essentially doubles the 3D performance of the Samsung Galaxy S III’s processor. We haven’t yet confirmed what type of battery the Nexus 10 tablet has.

The body itself of the tablet appears to be extremely thinner and lighter than its predecessor, which may help boost sales as we jump into the holiday season. The report added that Samsung has used a polycarbonate material on the rear side of the Nexus 10 which resembles like brushed aluminum. BriefMobile’s source further indicates that the slate’s display might be an IPS panel after all, since the display has color reproduction and clarity similar to HTC’s SLCD2 panel. Pricing and availability are as yet unknown, but we should have those for you very soon.

It remains to be seen whether the elusive tablet will be unveiled at Google Android event, as many have speculated, though we’ll all find out soon enough. Notable, Google has cancelled its press event over Sandy hurricane threat and is yet to reschedule or supply further details about the event.
