Nexus 10 Android Tablet is expected to be launched at the big Android press event in New York on October 29. Of late, images of Nexus 10 tablet have been leaked online, and needless to say, the photos managed to draw the attention of not only Samsung loyalists, but the entire tech community. Unlike the Nexus 7 tablet, which is built by Asus, the Nexus 10 in the leaked photos is Samsung manufactured.
Specifications: Nexus 10 Android tablet
According to various alleged screenshots (via Brief Mobile), Samsung’s 10-incher Nexus 10 will be powered by 1.7 GHz Samsung Exynos 5250, dual-core Cortex-A15, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and will be boasting off a 10.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution (298.9 pixels-per-inch). That bests even Apple Retina’s 264 ppi. The next generation tablet packs 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, front-facing dual speakers and NFC (Near Field Communication). Notably, there’s no SD card reader. Per BriefMobile,
The device’s back feels like brushed aluminum, says our source. There are rubber coated edges, and it’s extremely light and thin.
Here’s a leaked photo of the Nexus 10 homescreen which will ship with Android 4.2 (Android API Level 17):
Android 4.2 features updated gallery, and camera apps. A quick settings bar will be added which will give Android 4.2 users easy access to basic options such as Wi-Fi, BlueTooth, GPS, and more without having to navigate to the normal settings app. Android 4.2 will also have enhanced security features.
No details regarding pricing and availability have been leaked but Google is expected to debut both the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10 at an event in New York on Monday. With iPad Mini, iPad 4, and Microsoft Surface launched in last few days, there’s a plenty amount of choice made available to customers. Which tablet you have decided to buy?
