The iPad Mini is already a hot commodity in US. According to report, the initial stock of White iPad minis immediately inundated and was sold out within 17 minutes after Apple made it available for pre-order. The window for placing a pre-order has just closed, hard with the company extending its shipping time to 2 weeks from the original delivery date of 2nd November. It looks like another blockbuster launch for Apple and you may be bundling up for a wait in line to get iPad Mini. Apparently, the black Wi-Fi iPad mini remains available for delivery by November 2nd.
Pre-orders for the iPad Mini started on Friday midnight, October 26 through the Apple Online Store in theUnited States and 25 other countries. If you were hoping to get an early iPad Mini, you can try your chances at other retailers which are said to be taking pre-orders on launch day. The Wi-Fi iPad mini will be available in retail stores starting on November 2nd. The cellular version of iPad Mini is promised by mid-November.
Outside United States, Apple site is giving buyers on its site a delivery estimate of two to three weeks from the first moment the white iPad minis went on sale. With online pre-orders being sold out, lines may get quite long with Apple fans hoping to pick up the iPad Mini on 2nd November in-store instead.
