More Photos of 7.85-inch iPad Mini Emerges

New photographs of an alleged iPad Mini have emerged on the web, comparing it to the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire. As seen in the images, the appearance of the iPad Mini model is broadly consistent with the new iPad but is slightly squarish in design. However, the volume controls on the side has been broken into two buttons, rather than one button on a rocker switch. Like iPhone 5, iPad Mini will have a smaller dock connector with speaker mesh grill split into two parts.

All the iPad Mini photos seem to be on par with the last couple of supposedly leaked images. These are all direct signs that the 7.85-inch Mini iPad model(s) are coming.

One of a Taiwanese source told that Apple will release two versions of the iPad Mini – black and silver, but pointed that its shell is very prone to scratches.

It is expected that Apple will unveil the iPad Mini at its special event on 17th October, and the company will likely issue official invites very soon.
