Actual iPad Mini Photos with Lightning port reportedly Leaked

As we get close to the official unveiling of the iPad Mini – rumored for October 17th at the special event - it looks like not a day goes by without a new iPad Mini rumor. A fresh leak surrounding the iPad Mini shows that the volume controls on the side will be broken into two buttons, rather than one button on a rocker switch, and will have a smaller dock connector. The latest leak doesn’t bring anything new in the specs department, as it only shows a back and side view of the iPad Mini.

The image for today, posted by developer Sonny Dickson and sent in by an anonymous tipster from the official assembly lines (how convenient, right?) is very much on par with the last couple of supposedly leaked images of Apple’s next member in the family. These are all direct signs that the 7.85-inch Mini iPad model(s) are coming.

So is this the real image of iPad Mini tablet or is it a just a fake meant to stir the waters ahead of its announcement? If these leaks turn out to be false, expect the iPad Mini to sport a design significantly different than the one depicted in the image above. Fortunately, we’re only few days away from learning the truth.
