If you are one of many customers looking to purchase the iPhone 5 and just so happen to also be a Deutsche Telekom customer, you’ll be glad to know that the iPhone 5 is now being offered to you. Starting today, customers of the German mobile operator can pre-order iPhone 5 in anticipation of supply issues for the device, reports iPhoneTicker.de. Maybe that’s a protective step, to keep T-Mobile’s systems from getting deluged on launch day; we don’t know.
The operator will start distributing reservation coupons (Premieren Ticket) from today for early adopters who are willing to upgrade without questioning sales representative about iPhone 5′s release date, pricing or naming details. The coupons will only be issued to existing Deutsche Telekom customers and can be redeemed on a first come first served basis whenever the next generation iPhone debuts. Coupons are limited to one per customer.

The actual shipment date and receipt of your iPhone 5 order is not guaranteed and may be subject to delays due to several potential factors, including availability and credit issues apart from just supply bottlenecks. Last year, similar deal was offered by Vodafone and other carriers soon after Deutsche Telekom offered iPhone pre-order tickets.

In US, pre-orders is likely to start on September 12, on the very same day where Apple is anticipated to announce sixth generation iPhone handset alongside iOS 6, and rumored iPad mini.
Would you pre-order a smartphone before you know the name or specs?
