Dash Tweak: Switch Between Running iOS Apps & Close With a Swipe

Working on multiple iOS applications such as Mail, Notes, Calculator, etc? The only problem with iOS is that to get to the already opened app you want; you have to cycle through few finger strokes to get to the required application.

In order to cut down the time it takes you to access the opened app, the developers over SBCoders, who already have popular Deck and Aero Tweak in their kitty, have developed another jailbreak app known as Dash. The tweak allows all iOS device owners to multi-task by providing thumbnail views of all open applications. Users could invoke an overlay of “thumbnail cards” of their running applications (which can be scrolled through by swiping) and switch to or close them with a swipe.


Dash Cydia tweak displays all running applications in cover flow style, thus making it quicker and easier to recall the app you want. You can simply move back and forth between various opened applications. It also adds a whole bunch of features. While switching between apps, Dash provides you with number of Animation effects such as Scroll, CoverFlow, TimeMachine, Rotary and Cylinder. But all the animation options available are still in beta. With Dash Cydia App, you can even set the activation method to kill the opened iOS application. Simply swipe to close a running application.

In order to download and install Dash cydia tweak, your iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) must be running jailbroken iOS 5+. The Dash jailbreak tweak is under beta testing and SBCoders team will soon submit it to Cydia store, which after approval will be available for download under ModMyi repo. The developer hasn’t finalized on price point, but it could be either $0.99 or $1.99.
