Within 24 hrs of iOS 6 beta release, the most vocal hacker of iPhone Dev Team, Eric (@musclenerd), has jailbroken his iPod touch 4G on 6.0 (build 10A5316K). The confirmation came via his official twitter account. But since the exploit is still in its rudimentary stage, the hack may not be available anytime soon – it could take a month or two or even more.
Many things including Cydia are broken on iOS 6.0, the team is busy working on stabilizing the payload. After achieving the stable iOS 6.0 jailbreak on A4 device, the team will try to jailbreak the A5X shiny toys and then package it with redsn0w tool for final delivery.
