KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has reignited speculation that Apple might roll out iPhone 5 sometime in early September following the release of the its iOS 6 Gold Master version, citing anonymous source with proven track records who would be in a position to know about the new product launches.
Based on the release schedule for iOS 6 GM, there is a very good chance iPhone 5 will start shipping also in early September, Ming-Chi wrote in a note to investors on Monday.
Apple is, however, all set to release the beta bits of the iOS 6 today at WWDC keynote at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, 10:00 a.m. Pacific. The analyst, said last week that Apple’s sixth-generation iPhone device will feature a new 4.08-inch display utilizing in-cell touch screen technology.
