Apple Releases New iOS 5.1.1 build 9B208 for iPhone 4 (GSM)

Apple released a new iOS 5.1.1 Build 9B208 for iPhone 4 GSM. The prior build for iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 4 GSM version is labeled as 9B206. Details are thin but it seems the new software update has something to do with AT&T and 4G networks – at least that is what some user claims. Since the build difference is small, we can assume that it is just a minor update.

Since the update has been issued for iPhone 4 only, it has nothing to do with fixing 5.1.1 jailbreak exploit. Considering that Absinthe 2.x requires physical access to the device Apple is most probably slow with patching again. However, to be on safer side, we still advice you to hold off upgrading it to build 9B208. You can apply software update, after the we get green signal from the Chronic Dev Team.
