In addition to Absinthe 2.0, Chronic Dev Team have packaged pod2g’s Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 untethered exploit into a working cydia package - Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether. The package essentially cuts the cord while rebooting the jailbroken iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1G, iPod touch 4G and 3G. Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether will allow iOS 5.1.1 jailbroken device to reboot without requiring an external source such as redsn0w.

How to Untether 5.1.1 Jailbreak with Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether

Step 1: Assuming that you have already jailbroken your iOS Device riding on iOS 5.1.1 using redsn0w.

Step 2: Start Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone iOS 5.1.1 springboard.

Step 3: Search for Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether in Cydia and install it.

Step 4: This will automatically untether your jailbroken iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, ipad or iPod touch.

Step 5: Reboot your iOS device using the normal “slide to power off” swipe.
