As the next generation iPhone launch is steadily approaching, meatier rumors and actual leaks to have started coming in. iPhone parts supplier TVC-Mall has posted iPhone 5 home buttons for sale in both black and white. The parts look legitimate enough to warrant mention. The new home buttons is in rounded square shape resembling much like iOS app icons. As noted by TVC-Mall, there are subtle differences from the current generation iPhone’s corresponding part:
Different from iPhone 4S 4, the iPhone 5 home button is round in the centre and square outside as the pictures show. The two parts are indivisible.
Many tech watcher and industry expert claimed earlier that the next iPhone will feature capacitive elongated home button will create extra space for swiping across the home button in a left-to-right or right-to-left to quickly switch between multitasking apps. But these physical leaked home-button images have once again refuted the claims.

What could be the expected upgrades in the iPhone 5 is still unknown. Most of the rumors points out that next model will adopt liquidmetal featuring 4.6-inch retina display, slightly bigger screen with thinner display, dual-core A5X processor, and a rubber bezel.
Lending a little bit of credence to these leaked parts is the fact that the iPhone part resellers do receive parts in advance of a new product launch. If history of different Chinese suppliers is any indication, these home-button replacement parts look legitimate.
