Here you have it: The New iPad (aka iPad 3) is already arriving to people’s homes – 3 days early, to be exact. Apparently, the official launch of the 3rd Generation iPad was set for March 16th. Watch this Vietnamese guy (at Tinhte.vn) taking all that Designed-in-California goodness out of its box. The packaging seems similar to previous generation with notable changes such as – marking of ’4G’ at the back cover and the LTE toggle in the settings. The box contains power adapter and sync cable. Nothing seemed radically different.
A5X powered iPad 3 is four times as fast as the Tegra 3 with quad-core graphics, Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536, offering 44% greater color saturation than iPad 2. The New iPad bumps up the camera sensor to 5 megapixels with advanced optics very similar to those found in the 8-megapixel camera on the iPhone 4S. The new iSight camera is the same as the camera built into the iPhone 4S: auto-exposure, auto-focus, 5 megapixel backside-illuminated sensor with 1080p stabilized video.
2012 iPad 3 will go on sale in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia on March 16 and will begin shipping the iPad 3 internationally to 26 countries starting March 25.
