RingerX VIP: Set Custom Ringtones, SMS Vibrations to Contacts & Groups

iOS developer Yllier, who already have AdBlocker , Fullscreen for Safari and Screen Dimmer in its portfolio has developed another tweak called RingerX VIP. RingerX VIP is a jailbreak mod for iOS 5 that will allow you to control your iPhone alerts (ringer, vibrator) and customize them for each contact, whether calls or messages (SMS, MMS, iMessage). The outstanding options offered by RingerX VIP are numerous and interesting.

Setting Activator action, you can temporarily mute your iPhone for a pre-defined period of time after which all tones are turned back on again automatically. Once the action chosen and activated, a pop-up will be displayed and you can program the desired time. This feature of RingerX VIP comes handy when you plan to go to movie with a friend for a defined interval. You need not to re-enable the ringer manually (switch on the left side of your iPhone).

RingerX VIP rocks useful features for contacts and groups and can separately be set for calls and messages.

1. Always Silent: If you choose this option to a person, the calls will be silent no matter if your iPhone is in silent mode or not.
2. Custom volume: Set different volume to different contacts when the ringer is turned on (set with the volume buttons). The feature comes handy when an annoying person calls you repeatedly.
3. Ignore Mute: Set RingerX VIP to ignore the ringer switch and always ring; you can even set a custom volume for each contact or group. In addition, you can assign custom ring and textones to groups.
4. Always Vibrate: A final feature on customizing calls where you can set the phone only to vibrate when a particular contact calls you. This nifty feature comes handy in office to attend personal calls.

Now for the customization of alerts for SMS: They are two options; ’Ignore Mute’ and ’Vibrate Always’. Both settings have been granted the same level of customizations as mentioned for calls above.

RingerX VIP fully integrates into iOS and different settings are located in the contact/group view of the Phone and Contacts application. The icons in front of the contact names will indicate if you have important settings enabled.

RingerX VIP Cydia Tweak comes with SBSettings toggle that lets you activate or deactivate the app as per your convenience and it is compatible with CallBar, biteSMS, iBlacklist, Lockinfo, IntelliScreenX and others. RingerX VIP tweak is available in Cydia for $ 1.99 under the BigBoss repo.
