Animate tweak lets you install custom animated bootlogo on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch jailbroken with Greenpois0n or Absinthe. Recently, iH8sn0w released ‘animate fix for iOS 4.x.x/5.0.x’ bringing support to jailbroken iOS 5.x. But Animates allows you to select few bootlogo images that come along with tweak by default. If you want to put your own custom animated bootlogo (in. PNG or. GIF), follow the tutorial below:

INSTRUCTIONS: How to install your own Custom Boot Logos

Step 1: Jailbreak your iOS device

Step 2: Create the animated BootLogo

Create a folder name (say, CustBoot) the way you want and add your custom bootlogo images to it, name the images as 0.png, 1.png, 2.png, 3.png. Alternatively, download and any of the many boot logo packages available here (via iPhonix).

Image Size:

  • iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G: 640 * 960px
  • iPhone 3GS, 3G: 320 * 480px
  • iPad: 1024 * 1024px

Step 3: Export the folder to your Jailbroken device

Open iFunBox and place the folder containing your animation in the following path of your iDevice:

Library/BootLogos/

Step 4: Open settings.app and go to BootLogo and now select the name of folder you created, in my case: CustBoot

Power off your iOS device and restart it! Enjoy. Let us know which boot logos you decide to install on your iOS device.
