Following Absinthe A5 untethered jailbreak, iPhone Dev Team has released command line interface (CLI) tool – “Cinject” (Corona injector) that will assist the jailbreak team in fixing and ironing out majority of unknown errors arising after jailbreaking the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
Since Corona Injector CLI is far more complex than the Chronic Dev Team’s Absinthe, it is highly recommended to use only when you are well acquainted with what you are doing. This is meant for advanced users to debug specific issues. The tool is available for both Mac and Windows. Cinject version 0.4.3 download now adds support for Windows users making the “-j” jailbreak option much more functional.
If you are unable to run Absinthe or want to find out what is causing Absinthe to crash, then you can use Corona Injector CLI tool which will give you detailed log providing a walkthrough by log messages. This will assist the iPhone Dev Team to package bug-free corona A5 jailbreak exploit into redsn0w tool.
The CLI currently has over 20 individual options (in addition to the single “jailbreak” option) that should be useful during debug after the GUI release. More info is here
